This story is about saving someone from a criminal past without really knowing whether they are innocent or guilty. For Miriam it was the right thing to do and she trusted him. For Norrie it was his only way to escape death. The circumstances were complicated, perhaps his trial was unfair and he insisted that he was not guilty. She was his only hope and she cleverly arranged for his transition to life in South America. He did not forget what she had done for him and after many years they met again but under very different circumstances. Her love was sure from the beginning and he didn't see it, his developed after circumstances again required her interception. Sometimes we often overlook the real quality of those who we take for granted. Basil King weaves a great story of sacrificial love.Product details
